The 888 Fatboy Chocolate World Tour

Well, photos from my quick trip to Florida was a bust due to the rain and a rather rushed schedule, but got a few snaps of our land on my way!
A rural Alabama highway:
Some tunage for the drive:
Driving over the bridge into Niceville Florida (it rained the whole way there…) :
After rushing to make it back to open the gym, we got afternoon classes rolling:
While i was in a suit most of the day, changed into the WTJ once at the gym to celebrate the weekend!
Detail shot:
Came home and caught up on some Paw Patrol episodes with the twins:
Hope everyone is having a great start to the weekend!

Great stuff as usual @Appfaff

Thanks @Matty123 !
Yesterday was a busy Saturday as usual for us. Kids have been under the weather for the last week and have been getting cabin fever, so my wife took them out and about while I worked on some big projects for work.
My office set up featuring some unique contemporary style artwork my grandfather had collected:
Here is the house we bought in August. It’s a 1970s Trilevel that lives a lot like a Stacked townhome or condo. Almost half of the SF we had at our old home, but only about 6 blocks away from the Bay and about a 7 minute walk to parks for the kids:
My backyard which needs a lot of work lol
Our lot of super deep and actually extends about 60 more feet behind the fence, but we wanted to keep a green screen from the easement behind us for privacy.
Took a break and let Avery take my heartbeat lol
Giving daphne (our pit-lab) a check up
Finally found some decent Texas beer at my local market:
Off to go hold an open house, so will give a tour of our Northern side of town later today!
Cheers

She’s totally the [emoji73] of the house!
Yesterday was another bust for photos since it rained non stop and ruined my open house…
Anyways, came back worked on some projects some more, but not without some beer!
Here is the entry to the house i held open yesterday - bummed no one came by to see me, but our rain is so torrential, no one willfully goes out!
More sitting…
This morning, I had to go into my office, which is down in Gulf Shores - it’s about 36 miles away, but it all back roads, so it takes about 50 minutes to get there. Not a terrible drive, but annoying none the less…
Here are some shots during my drive:
We are not lacking in trees…
The polo fields:
It was kind of chilly this morning:
Finally got to the office and getting back to work!
Bonus WTJ shot:
Hope everyone is having a great Monday!

Preserved, those Porsches are not!
Had a crazy day yesterday, and sadly none of it was celebrating Mardi Gras
The WTJ has a great time reading the best child’s boom of all time to the twins [emoji23]
My wife made some paleo chicken tenders
Had a decent IPA
Enjoyed a croissant sandwich for breakfast today:
Had to go buy a new suit (or two…)
Enjoyed a night drive back from Florida
Sorry for the crap photo lol

Sorry for the lack of posts last week - felt like a headless chicken running around the last week or so!
This weekend was busy, but wanted to show you guys more of my little town by the Bay.
Here is an architectural tour of Downtown Fairhope - and some more photos of Daphne for @Seul [emoji190]
Fairhope was originally founded in the late 1800s, but the big boom was the 1930s-1960s. Which means there is a lot of creole inspired cottages and MCM type ranch homes.
Most older properties that have not been historically preserved have been torn down and big coastal craftsman homes put on the lots:
Took the kids to the neighborhood park
Had a bubble fight yesterday afternoon:
Hope everyone had a great weekend!

This last week was pretty busy as we prepared to welcome my business partner home from his recent deployment in the Middle East.
We ended up with a sick kid on Tuesday, who came and hung out with me at the gym :
Luckily he felt better by Wednesday, so I could go pick up my new driveway addition:
Celebrated March Birthdays at my office with a good old fashioned sheet cake:
My wife started making “overnight oats” for us to grab and run in the mornings and it turned out great!
Went to breakfast before class with my staff and grabbed a tasty Americano (extra shot, of course)
Had some decent beers this week:
Went out to eat Thursday night with some friends/clients and had some amazing cheesy bread lol
About to head off to Alys Beach, Florida with the wife for the night. It’s a really cool area I’ve been wanting to check out:
Bonus shot of the new whip:

The wife and I made a quick trip out to 30A on Saturday night. Didn’t manage to snag too many photos since it’s busy season and roads to super crowded, but here is a few of the things we got to do.
We stay right between Alys and Rosemary Beach in a little district called The Village. The view from our balcony were these enormous townhomes:
Went to a swanky cocktail lounge in Alys Beach called NEAT (it’s too “hip” for a beach team…)
The decor and furniture was pretty cool tho:
The next morning we zipped a few blocks down to Rosemary beach for espresso and breakfast pastries:
Love the architecture down there:
Hope everyone had a great weekend!
