I kinda like the look of this Seiko sne325. Any other companies that make a similar looking watch?

Kind of looks like a Rado

Kind of confused, if you like that Seiko, why not just get it?

I have two other Seikos that I don't wear anymore because they kept horrible time (one is a Seiko 5). I suppose I could bring them in to a dealer and see if they can fix them but at this point I can't be bothered. I like the look of the SNE325 but am apprehensive about buying.

Is the other one an automatic, too?  Lower prices Seikos, like the 5s, are known for having a pretty wide range of timekeeping accuracy.  They're capable of keeping excellent time, but it usually requires some fine tuning.

The one you pictured has a quartz movement, though, so it should be much more accurate.

Correct. My Seiko 5 would usually lose 5 minutes every couple of weeks. I know it's easy to fix but I got tired of doing it so bought a Casio G-shock

Gorgeous! I don't know why so many in the watch community slam that Speedy-like bracelet style Seiko and GS use, it looks lovely.

Japanese Auto movement, 43mm stainless case, screw down crown. Love the look, feels pretty decently made for the price point.

I think they make solid watches. The aesthetic isn’t always to my liking compared to the comparable Seiko offerings and the stuff Hamilton turn out.

I've already got a Hamilton Khaki in my sights for my next purchase. I just can't do cheap hobbies  😃

That is pretty much why I still don’t own a watch. I’ve spent hours and hours perving over them on the internet and considering options but I know as soon as I go for one a new Pandora’s box will be opened.

I know what you mean but I think you just had to find that one watch that suits you perfectly and you can be very happy with owning just that one. My first serious watch was a Rolex Explorer I, I still think the most ageless watch one can get. It took me almost a year to scrape the money to buy it spending many times staring at it through the the shop-window. It's been a great companion for many years not thinking about any other watch…

That is an interesting point @Chap  There has certainly ended up being an element of perfectionism in my search for a watch. Maybe I just haven’t found “the one” yet?

That Victorinox has a reputation of being pretty indestructible. Nice pick up.

Trying to get into the watch game. Victorinox don't get many mentions but I like the brand and the INOX seems very Iron Heart-ey. Plus the red face is unique. The only problem is that it's 13.6mm tall which is proving difficult to wear with UHF sleeves.

I have a watch that is almost 16mm thick. I tend to fold uhf sleeve cuffs in half on my watch hand, works well.

If I have to have my cuffs fastended at wrist level for more than 5 minutes my head threatens to explode. I’m basically a three year old, but it means I can have a big thick watch, one day when I finally find «The One» [emoji849]
