Not sure what flower this is but it sure was strongly colored. Pic taken at 3600 meters.

@Madame Buttonfly , probably getting near the end of the rose growing season, but they always come out beautiful this time of year.

^nice^

@Madame Buttonfly i was unfamiliar with peonies until we went to Phillbrook Gardens in Tulsa OK. They had an entire hedge (5’high and probably 200’ long) of them. absolutely brilliant!
i’ll try to dig up some pics and post.

Wow @ROman that is a truly beautiful rose, do you know the name? @mikebarhoot we absolutely love peonies, it's a shame they have a relatively short flowering season but they are amazing. Giles just bought a few to plant in a cutting bed so that I can grow some specifically for putting around the house.
Lovely posts everyone, thank you

It's a tea rose, I don't remember the variety.

@Madame Buttonfly we came across this wild Orchid on Koh Samet the previous day and the flowers hadn't opened so we were happily surprised when it was open the next day [emoji3590]

Spring time cheer for @Madame Buttonfly AKA. Paula.

Lovely photos, thank you @twin! @den1mhead where were you seeing the baby pineapples growing?
Spring is well and truly in the air, our wisterias have been amazing, sadly they and the tulips and some of the tree peonies are already nearly over, but the laburnum is about to come into full bloom and the roses are budding up - I love this time of year!

@Madame Buttonfly we saw the baby pineapples growing in a bar / restaurant in Thongsala on the island of Koh Phangan Thailand. We were waiting to leave the island, by boat, so stopped for a Chang and saw them there. I had no idea they grew like that, I'd imagined they grew from trees like bananas :o
