IHSH-68-ind - 12oz Wabash Work Shirt - Indigo

@atm23 Thank you and congrats on a special shirt.
They are so crisp and stiff when new, it’s great. I wrote this somewhere else recently, but for me this shirt embodies all the qualities that define Iron Heart. Wonderful fabric, classic but refined design, fantastically engineered and hard wearing af. And of course they age incredibly.
@neph93 I completely agree with everything you've said. This embodies the work wear clothing ethos to me. I owned hickory and Wabash shirts in the early 90s before I really knew what they were, and when you could still buy vintage American work wear on stalls in London.
I think I could have got away with an XL in this and cool washed it, but the XXL fits fine after your advice. The is some white lining on the inside of the shirt, but none on the outside. The hem curl doesn't bother me too much. My indigo IH 33 does it sometimes too so I'm used to it.
Your IH 68 has aged amazingly! I love the wear and fade on Wabash…thanks for sharing the pics

I got my shirt and beanie this morning. I appreciate how early FedEx got here. Also, I saw that my order was processed at 4:47 GMT… that's dedication there... thanks.
Anyway, love the new shirt. For someone that is addicted to things with a smooth soft hand, the fabric is amazing. It's not bulky at all but the overall weight is heavy. Definitely Iron Heart, and definitely the sharpest looking shirt I own now.
Awful picture (there's no sun at all today) but I moved the button on the cuff in a little to make them smaller. I used red thread to match the contrast stitch of the shirt because I didn't have that deep navy color Works used.
Do I need to soak this to avoid fade shift or is it good to go?

Thanks. That's a good thing because I am keen on this not seeing water for a long time.

I received this last week and have been wearing it regularly. I like the comment on the inside which reads basically, “wear it a lot before washing.”

nice pick-up
a lot of Iron Heart shirts say that on the inside.
this is one of those incredible shirts that I was too much of a whimp to give the wear it required and sold it . . . plus it was kind of big for me after I lost a few pounds.
think I may revisit this beauty when winter comes

It’s a fair cop but the forum is to blame.

Picked this up in the marketplace. Couldn’t be happier with it!

Is there an anticipated restock on these? Looked everywhere for an XXXL.

That’s high praise right there.

@neph93 undeserved, but thank you none the less. I personally think wabash was born for work shirts, wabash and chambray are the very definition.
It would be a crying shame for this to go out of production. It is the IH item that I get the single most compliments about from those 'not in the know' (and those that are). I washed this during the week, but haven't ironed it yet so haven't checked the evo. Some pics may be warranted later today.

I wore my Wabash hard this past summer and fall and people would approach me and ask where I got the shirt.
