Just wondering if anyone here has ever had their IH shirts tailored like taking the waist in.  My IHSH-23 fits me perfectly in the chest and shoulders but is pretty large around the belly.  I was thinking of sending it in to take in an inch on each side.  I've already hot washed and machine dried the shirt for maximum shrinkage.  Just wanted to see if anyone has done this and if you had any advice.

i dont own a IH shirt but from what i understand they have fallen side seams with a guest which makes it slightly difficult to alter. Not impossible but not all tailors would put it back to that standard which to me is a shame.

your other option would be to put back darts in, i personaly dont like darts on men's shirts but it is common practice these days.

Well what d'ya know - as new!.. I don't have shoe trees or whatever you call them so I had to improvise to keep them in shape whilst drying… Also: I had the brilliant idea of putting brandnew, unwashed RED hankies in them so of course they bled and now my once grey parts are purple... Lol... I'm an ee'jit...
