Anyone here play video games?

Anyone else around here got any of the old Nintendo Game & Watch games?
Excellent topic.
My father has a couple of these, among them the original Donkey Kong (orange shell, 2 displays), another 2-display one that I don't remember very clearly, the Donkey Kong jr as in your picture and a game where one must fume some plants (?) as they are threatened by critters.
I would like to hunt down more Game & Watch but I believe these are getting exceedingly rare.

Cool! I remember the two-screen Donkey Kong fondly from my primary school playground days. The fumey plant game is called Green House, and was also a playground classic! If I were to try and get a third, it'd probably be that.
A bunch of the games are easy enough to track down on eBay, if money isn't an object. However, money, of course, is clearly an object! I mean, if you leave out the mysterious ethereal world of cryptocurrencies and all that…
Bet there are some incredible finds (and bargains) just waiting to be found in any number of neighbourhood yard sales, though!

Just remembered I have the Game & Watch version of Super Mario Bros somewhere; got it as a gift from my mom when I was to take a long train-trip or something like that. Nostalgia. I also seem to remember it got annoyingly difficult at some point.
It wasn't that long ago that I found myself thinking that Game & Watch games must be a thing in yard sales and garage sales and that sort of occasions. A decent number of these were sold and then replaced by Gameboys etc. a few years later.

Nice! Don't think I ever played that one. I used to have the old Sonic LCD game made by Tiger, which I imagine was in a fairly similar vein. Lots of holding right and jumping.
I never had a Game Boy back in the day, but bought an original one on a whim this year and have been enjoying Mario 2: 6 Golden Coins a great deal. The gameplay really holds up. Plus there's the replay value of trying to find all the little secret areas. Well fun!

just started playing spider-man for the ps4
holy fuck soooo funHeard some good things about that game. Haven't played it yet.

I'm very excited about the Resident Evil 2 demo on Friday. I probably will download it on PS4/XB/PC so I can play it 3 times. You can only play once and for 30 minutes.

Also, for us Americans Best Buy is offering a free Steelbook with the purchase of the game (in store pickup only).
This is cool because it was thought that the Steelbook version was only available in the EU.

Some spoiler-free RE2 gameplay if you haven't seen it. The video is definitely NOT SAFE FOR WORK!
It looks like they finally found a decent balance between the action-packed Resident Evil 4 and the older, slower paced games. Should be pretty awesome.

The RE2 demo was 10/10 awesome.

@nurunuru this video about the Game 'n Watch came out yesterday. I thought you would like it.
Unrelated, this Japanese RE2 trailer is amazing. The game looks unbelievably great.

Thanks! That was interesting.

Major bummer thay I had to go out of town for work for the weekend. I'm missing Ace Combat 7 on PC and RE2. I've already got RE:2 pre-loaded. I hate these release/street dates and wish they would just release stuff when it was ready.
