Anyone here play video games?
-
Dammit…I never got around to taking advantage of the gold bar glitch. I haven't had much time to play the game lately.
-
I picked up a bar now and then when I was in the neighbourhood… Holding 7k and have 3k in my camp funds...
Baller status. I think I've got a whopping 200 bucks.

I finally finished all the hunting requests in RDR2. The payoff for the quest was totally worth it. It was really funny.
-
Anyone tried their hand at Command & Conquer: Rivals, yet? It's not an RTS but it is what it is and quite enjoyable / infuriating at that. Some would say pay to win but in all honesty, skill decides matches in this one… Or at least it will, as I'm not sure the unit balance is quite there yet.
-
Finally beat the game and got 100% completion. What an amazing game, and such a great story. 10/10.
-
You're a complete fucking nutter!..
I've been SLOOOOOWWWWLLLLYYYY getting into the hunting stuff… Legendary Animals and getting stuff for the trapper... The hunting itself is so frustrating... Either my horse is being a dick, or I'm no longer holding the right gun all of the sudden, or the sun is blinding me...
Just got a killer (Hinterland) vest from the trapper, made from a perfect ram hide... But (in Morty's voice) oh jeezzzz is that list long!..
-
@Seul I've been slowly chipping away at getting the Zoologist and Skin deep Achievements. They are even crazier. You need to find and skin every animal in the game! I am about 80 percent done with this…
-
I'm now on Guarma!.. I've been avoiding the main missions, but this is cool… I do hope I get to see Miss Tilly Jackson again though, cause she was my boo ::)
Oh and I've read about those achievements... Really crazy... My compendum says I'm at 257 out of 551... Jesus tapdancing christ... WHAT MANIAC PUTS 551 DIFFERENT ANIMALS IN A FUCKING GAME???
-
Hey Seul, there are several different animals there that are missable in case you're going for a full compendium. There's 10 total.
-
I already noticed me old friend the Iguana… That was a bastard getting some perfect hides of... Even with a Varmint Rifle and a Legendary Elk trinkle...
But I'm not going for a full compendium... Maybe after I've finished the game... Then I'll just use the "cheat" to get back to Guarma...
-
Except you won't be able to save or if you do get there you can't leave. So there's a point of no return. I didn't know this and missed all of them.
Edit: it is the Legendary Buck Antler trinket that grants a chance for better pelts.
-
That's the one… I got the Elk and Moose ones before I realised I needed the Buck...
Oh I see... I figured it was like the islands west of Rhodes (where you find the Iguanas first)... If you set up camp there, it automatically makes you cross the water...
I might be on the look out for those 10 bastards then... Still trying to figure out how to craft shit on Guarma... But I just landed there so I guess I'll figure it out...
-
You craft the trinkets at the fences. You can craft anywhere by holding triangle.
To get to Guarma you have to glitch into Mexico first then head East across the map. It's a pain in the butt. There's places everywhere that you fall through the map. But to even get there you need to spawn and shoot the wheels off of a circus wagon by activating cheats. Then you climb ontop of the wagon and climb up this one place on the mountain. So once you activate cheats you're no longer able to save….

Anyone else around here got any of the old Nintendo Game & Watch games? Some absolute gems to be found! I'm convinced that the Game & Watch version of Donkey Kong Jr is one of the greatest platformers ever made. I enjoyed playing it on the Pica Pic website, but was amazed when I got the actual game just how much harder it is than the online flash version. I consider reaching 1,000+ points on Game B to be one of my greatest ever gaming achievements. Right up there with FINALLY beating Alex Kidd in Miracle World waaaay back in the day
I used to have Crab Grab back in primary school, where it got knicked all-too-soon by some little tyke, and was very excited to finally get another copy on Christmas morning this year!
Would love to hear if there's anyone else on this forum who remembers any of the games in this series with equal fondness. Let's nostalgia-ing!

Excellent topic.
My father has a couple of these, among them the original Donkey Kong (orange shell, 2 displays), another 2-display one that I don't remember very clearly, the Donkey Kong jr as in your picture and a game where one must fume some plants (?) as they are threatened by critters.
I would like to hunt down more Game & Watch but I believe these are getting exceedingly rare.

Cool! I remember the two-screen Donkey Kong fondly from my primary school playground days. The fumey plant game is called Green House, and was also a playground classic! If I were to try and get a third, it'd probably be that.
A bunch of the games are easy enough to track down on eBay, if money isn't an object. However, money, of course, is clearly an object! I mean, if you leave out the mysterious ethereal world of cryptocurrencies and all that…
Bet there are some incredible finds (and bargains) just waiting to be found in any number of neighbourhood yard sales, though!

Just remembered I have the Game & Watch version of Super Mario Bros somewhere; got it as a gift from my mom when I was to take a long train-trip or something like that. Nostalgia. I also seem to remember it got annoyingly difficult at some point.
It wasn't that long ago that I found myself thinking that Game & Watch games must be a thing in yard sales and garage sales and that sort of occasions. A decent number of these were sold and then replaced by Gameboys etc. a few years later.
