Spraying  the inside and edge of the cuffs with water repellent for leather works for me. I think it wears off so you'll get stains eventually if not repeated.

It really doesn't bleed at all that way?.. I'd prefer that method over having tape on the inside of my cuff…

Yea, a buddy bought it for me at one of his courses. I haven't used it yet, I think ill get arrested if i swing this baby around in the park.
Maybe when im on holiday.. although its way too big and heavy for small tasks

Yeah, and I think I got them when the tape had come off on the inside… So actually that water repellant spray might work... But I'm just not gonna wear them under my IHs at all... Too much hassle...

Same fetish here, altough almost all of my chairs are plastic or fiberglass so no stains on mine.

But I love your idea, so I just might steal it and get one of my Ilmari Tapiovaara Domus chairs upholstered with denim.

very nice.  I'll have to take some pics of mine when i get a chance.  I do have an old 70s eames aluminum group chair with a cracked arm that could make a great contender for iron heart fabric.  i'd have to find a replacement arm, which shouldn't be an issue.
