I dig these Wesco Jobmasters from Division Road. Any ideas as to fit on these compared to other brands? These remind me of the Red Wing Lineman’s [emoji108]

@Giles I gues you could make some boots with exactly these specs, right? I Need to save Money at the Moment, but would definitely try to get those at some point.

In principle yes he can. The only possible  issue is whether or not Division Road have a deal with Wesco which protects the build. Even then that deal would probably have a time limit and may only be applicable in the USA.

It’s hard exactly to tell from that pic but they look like 6” Jobmasters using British domain, Lace to toe, lined, raptor sole, white heavy stitching, brown upper stitching, nylon laces.

^ Unlined with rolled top and Vibram Christy, otherwise pretty much that.

I think this is a rather bland Jobmaster with nothing particularly interesting going for it, bar the British Tan leather which looks good. The IH-collab Jobmaster in brown RO with Gloxi-sole that @Max Power already has is much nicer.

Ah…rolled top. That makes more sense. I did think a full lining would have made them unnecessarily expensive.

That horsehide is available at Wesco, I saw it when I was at the factory in Feb. You could do a custom in your style from it with ease.

Have you considered the Red Wing Lineman 2904's? I don't know how they compare to Wesco's but they're a lot cheaper.

So I think you are only one or two credits short of having your Doctorate in Wesco builds. I am weak for British Tan Domain on almost every build I encounter.

Thanks for all the replies. I know those Red Wings, but they just don't do it for me anymore. Of course the Division Road Jobmasters are Close to the rough Outs I have, but it's just my favourite boot & combination of mateirals and shape. The british tan is just so nice. But a custom build in horeshide could also be something.

It's interesting how the Wesco site offers more than meets the eye - quite literally so, as you need to get creative to be able to custom-build a "Hendrik" or a "Johannes" and there might be more such models, that are there but you would never know by just looking around.

WESCO seemed to be having a sale on their factory seconds the last few weeks, and I picked up a pair of veg tan Boss's with a Vibram 700 sole for $140 delivered and these beauties for $95 delivered.  :o

According to the seconds label, the 'uppers lean back slightly' but nothing at all noticeable.

From a small amount of digging and this stamp, I think they may have been samples for the Japanese market?

I don’t think I’ve ever hit an ‘add to cart’ button faster

They have a few pairs of women’s size Morrison’s for $95 still but all the real steals are gone.

The Boss’s have some loose grain on one vamp and a few water stains but for $120 I couldn’t say no so I’ve been using them as my beaters to get a real patina going - I’ll be sure to post when they’re good and battered
