IHSH-34 Heavy Hairline Hickory Western Shirt

Could someone compare the fit of this shirt with that of the IHSH-22?  I recently picked up the 34 (my first IH shirt) in a large and though its perfect in the shoulders, the length and to some degree the width are a bit much.  From what I've read, this is not uncommon with this shirt.  At any rate, now that I have an IH shirt (and know for the first time in my life what a shirt actually is) I am ready for more.  The sizing chart lists the measurement for the 22 as larger than the 34.  Is the 22 roomier than the 34?  Should I try a medium rather than a large?  I know there are bunch of you guys on here with both shirts.  What's the story? Thanks.

after a quick look at the sizing charts for the two shirts.. I would go with a medium in the 22. It would be similar, yet slightly slimmerr fit.

Yep - go with medium… I have both in small and the 22 is roomier...

Well if you remember, I sold a small IHSH-07 a while back. You had PM'd me about it.
I really liked the look of it, but imo the 34 looks better.

I will eventually get the IHSH-07bk, but I need a nice flannel before that time comes..

The IHSH-37 will be my next shirt. (besides the T's and sweatshirt of course)

That should fit you fine, I'd prefer at least 2 inches on mine.

Existing shirt. Fits me well. But i need a tad more space for my tummy. I know that's sad haha.

It's 23 inch pit to pit for that shirt.

I hope that extra 1 inch wont make it too sloppy for me.
