Today me and the wife took a trip from Kyoto to Nara to see the famous Nara-koen with the deer. Today was also the first day that I wore my new 634s jawnz. All the pictures of me decked out in IH gear turned out to be crap so you have to excuse me for littering the forum with a retarded pic of me trying to establish contact with a Naraite.

The best part of the day (after new jawnz of course, soooooo comfortable!)) was actually the weather, it was so warm in the sun that I could wear my IHSH-32 as top layer. Nara in itself wasn't as nice as I had been told but the giant buddha was still very impressive and we did have a fun day out.

Since the first pic was crap, I'll round up my post with yet another flower pic from yesterday to make this a worthwhile post. We took a hike around the northwest area around Kyoto and this one was taken in the beautiful zen garden of the Tenryu-ji temple. It was overcast and fairly cold the whole day but we managed to find a super ramen joint along the hike where I had probably the most delicious meal here yet.

recovering. had a nice large amount of craft beers last night at the Self Edge hosted tasting and now i feel a tad groggy. lol. ahh, such is the price for drinking multiple 8%+ alcohol by volume beers. delicious…and strong!
