IHJ-35-BLK - Japanese Horsehide Rider’s Jacket - Black (Tea-Core Dyed)

How heavy and warm would you rate this leather and how soft do you think i can get?
-
Thanks. Yes, that's true. I figure it's not as heavy as FQHH, just thinking weather it will be a jacket for moderate temperatures (October) or rather cold months. It's really tempting.

It's not very warm. It's thin leather and a thin lining. I would wear it between 7 and 20 deg, with a thicker base layer when cold and t shirt when warm.

You're pushing it eh?
Seriously, thank you. Do you own one personally?

It's not stiff like a FQHH Aero jacket. But it's not soft like goat skin either. It hasn't softened up too much in the 1.5 years I've had it.

I have the Self Edge version. You even commented on one of the pics I posted

Ah, I'm getting old obviously. Thanks a lot for the replies. I actually could use a jacket in that temperature range. But how to tell the wife? I need a strategy here…and might have to sell some items.

And by amazing present you think a child would count?
-
I agree with the 7 to 20 deg.
Below 7 the N1 and above 20 no jacket.
It is a great jacket. You won't regret it if you play your cards right. -
Thanks for the Affirmation. Just Need somebody to buy my stuff in the sales thread then.

"Hey, look what I've bought. I thought I owed it to myself after the AMAZING present I gave you recently.
I think you'd agree, that it is more than fair"…...Her response: You actually thought the only reason the mailman comes by is to deliver packages from Ironheart? [emoji16]
