maybe you can ask the guys at "kebab shop" to put all of the stuff on a pizza+fries...believe me, i could have this everyday

well it's just everything with what a doner kebab is stuffed with (lamb, salat, coleslaw, onions and fries), on a pizza 

We call it a gyro

I have it on good authority its the same thing because my greek friend and my turkish ex had a shouting match over it's name

I just say "gimme a number three"

Lemme guess- your Turkish ex said that the above is called a gyro, and your Greek friend said that it most definitely is not?

I'm with the Greeks on this one; that is not a gyro.  A gyro is lamb, tomatoes, onion and tzatziki sauce on a fluffy pita.  That's it, nothing else.

Whatever you call it, though, a pizza with lamb and fries and all that other stuff is genius.

We call it 'pita', but the Turks here call it Kebab… I have it with falafel and feta cheese and garlic sauce...

Döner is the meat in the turkish version of "pita" or gyro (specially made in the upright pole, usually lamb or mix of lamb and beef, sometimes made also of chicken)
Kebab is same as shaslik (russia) or souvlaki (in greece); meat skewers

just another variation. everywhere has it's own unique stamp . . . from putting the gyros dish into a bread, to the various types of bread and meat, to adding extra ingredients

Took my brother out on his birthday yesterday and had him choose any place he wanted to eat.  He heard of this place called The Garage by San Jose State College that he wanted to try so off we went.

The Place was very un-assuming (sat about 20 people in a revamped Garage but the food was incredible.

We had the Veggie Burger with Sweet Potato Fries, Mac-N-Cheese, and a Vanilla Bread Pudding….with a beer (I chose the Allagash Wheat Beer):
