I'm jealous Seul, I wish I could amnesiac myself and re-watch the Wire all over again.
Just finished watching it last month. Best series I've ever seen, by far! Totally new perspective on "The Farmer in the Dell"
As for me, today I only worked 2 hours, which is an improvement on 13hrs in each of the two previous days. I need to quit on of these jobs :-\

A shot of what me and my 634s did this weekend…..

Today I went to Hachioji.
After a train ride from Shinjuku and a very exciting bus ride (no info what so ever in english or in roman letters) from Hachioji station to the part of Hachioji (Utsuki) were the Works is located and some lost and confused wandering around we finally found where we were supposed to be,. You can tell I'm happy…
After some general looking around the shop I got to do this - trying on my first pair of 634:s. Fit was spot on, no decent pics of that, sorry. But here's a pic of the fitting room:
There were also quite a bit of shirts and jackets in my size, which was a surprise. I fell in love with the heavy chambray (IHSH-13) so I had to buy that one as well. Here's a pic of the loot on the counter.
Me and my wife had the pleasure of meeting Gon who was absolutely adorable and really really helpful. Made us feel very welcome at the Works.
She even went out of her way in hospitality by offering us a ride back to the station. Needless to say, both me and my wife were overwhelmed by the warm welcome and service.
Today was definitely the highlight of my Japan trip so far. To make it even better the sun has been shining all day long.

Thanks guys! If anyone plans a visit I can give exact directions on how to get there (just PM me). We just came back from dinner in Ebisu, we were just walking around and stumbled upon an excellent charcoal-grill style restaurant. The food was incredible (best yet here on our trip). No pics though, was too busy eating and drinking beer.

Super Laser Awesome, Jii
** & that Nike Destroyer jacket is not a bad choice either
-
amazing. to quote liz lemon "i want to go to there."
-
Jii, no let down. it's always great to be thrifty when possible & the jacket still looks great.

Today I took a walk around Asakusa and Ueno. Went to check out Hinoya, they stock Buzz Rickson, Sugar Cane and IH of course. It's an incredible feeling to get to touch and feel the stuff IRL that you have only seen on the internet. I saw some very nice boots from White's, Lone Wolf, Chippewa, Viberg and Russell Moccasin as well but no chance to get anything bigger than a US 10 over here. Doesn't matter though since my goodie budget is already spent
We also saw some blossoming trees (Prunus x kanzakura, don't know what they are but not cherry blossom time yet sadly) and I managed to get a nice shot of them I think.
It sure was a nice day, finished it by eating yakitori in a small stand where our six months of japanese spoken language courses paid off since there were no pictures of the food they serve or anyone speaking english.
Tomorrow were off to Kyoto. Think I'll wear my 634s for the first time there to make it a special occasion.
