Well Bayern Munich have a bit of a mountain to climb.

For the passionate Bayern hater, a long, bitter, painful drought came to an end today. At long last, some team defeated the bastards. Heartfelt congrats to Real, and don't you let it slip in the second game! You made my day, and I hope to celebrate, say with some Cava, the elimination of the behated squad at least out of the CL soon.

After watching the highlights Bayern should have won that game fairly easily.  If we are being honest Real Madrid has kind of just been squeaking by as of late but hey, I guess that's all it take sometimes ….this is football....the good teams win even when they aren't playing well....and blah blah blah all the other cliches....but really, Bayern blew a ton of pretty damn clear cut chances.

Performing a dance, what a joy to see Bayern lose AGAIN. How sweet it is!

Funny thing is that the Frankfurt coach will be coaching Bayern Next season. I wonder if they are pissed at him now.

I too wanted Mourinho to win yesterday to keep his 100% final record with English clubs. As far as I can remember it was only his second final loss? The first one being with Real in 2013 in the Copa del Rey Final against Atletico.

Judging by that game it won’t be his last. United were very poor as were his team choices and subs. He increasingly seems like a spent force.

It's not very entertaining (if at all) to watch United play recently. The second half was way better yesterday but it's fair to say everyone is always expecting more from this club. Best wishes and a speedy recovery to Sir Alex.

some games are fantastic to watch. the comeback against city, the first few games of the season and such where the link up between lingard pogaba and co were brilliant. but then there's some where they just sit around with any penetration going from side to side.  it's absolutely frustrating. i wish some players would leave soon.

on my list:

rashford, sanchez (unlikely), hererra are my top 3.. i wish i could give that boy rashford a chance but he's too slow and indecisive..
