Cheers for the compliments. Yeah, I got the size 9 (UK) but 8.5 would had been ideal. I’ll wear some chunky socks and see how that goes but I’m not particularly bothered by them being a little larger than usual. Size 8s were way too small for me and were crunching my toes.

FWIW, my service boots were pretty loose when new and fit like a glove after 8 months of regular wear - the leather will mold very well.

Not really- I think it's their most narrow/pointy last. I'm just fine in it, but I have a pretty ordinary D width foot.

2030 is like a D. I have E(E) in Wesco and with some stretching, the 2030 last worked for me…

From what i own, chukkas-engineers-hikers-service boot- the last 310 and the one used on the hikers are the widest.️

I will post when there is some progress.  The 160 is also extremely comfortable straight out of the box.  This is one of the main lasts they use in their other non-fashion oriented workboot line.

Just did some maintenance on these. Italian calf with an unusual matte finish. I really love them and would like ta add a similar pair of brown service boots in the near future.
