My problem with Punk as a whole is that, being musically Trained, I would rather listen to something that actually sounds good, rather than just being progressive. I love the sentiment and most of the riffs, as well as the lyrics, but sadly, most of the 60-late 80s stuff sounded so terrible on record I can’t stand to listen to it, no matter how “good” or “ground breaking” it was.

Minor Threat was kind of the first album I actually connected with as a teen. The others I just liked because of their impact.

The thing with proto punk, punk and post punk for me is that it throws up some of the absolute best music. Ironically, in the case of HD this is also pop music dressed up as punk. I love those guys.

The thing with proto punk, punk and post punk for me is that it throws up some of the absolute best music. Ironically, in the case of HD this is also pop music dressed up as punk. I love those guys.

Don't know if they're considered post punk but i'm a fan of the Bush Tetras

Same.  My daughter told me he passed I said who's that?  She told me, to which I replied "oh yeah?  Well Barbara Bush died this week too".  To which she replied, "who's that?".  ???

A Bush death is like a national day of mourning in Texas.

Avicii was genuinely talented and widely liked as a person.  I wasn't really a fan, but Lonely Together is a damn good song.

Selfie, on the other hand, is truly appalling.

I genuinely liked Aviici’s  music.

One of the only in the category I continued to like release after release.
