I love IH cargo pants. I’ve bought a pair of the last two iterations and would kill for a new run in the heavy serge.
There have been a lot of calls here for a tapered version. Those I would not buy.
The problem I have with cargos is that they're either too baggy or too slim. The IH cargos are too big on my frame and the hem would swallow my shoes. I've looked at the Stevenson recon fatigue cargos at SE and the hem on those borders on skinny to the point that they almost seem like MC Hammer pants
I would like something that has more taper but not an overly aggressive taper -

As much as I love my Sonny Vest … it's just to stiff and heavy for spring and summer.
But I'd like to wear a denim vest with side pockets over a untucked Tee or Shirt. And it just looks ridiculous to see a tail popping under the vest.Hmmm ... the SOLUTION vest would be:
A modified denim type III vest with side pockets and a longer body (+2"-3")
in a lighter weight denim (14-16oz). Maybe the new renewal denim.
Bronze donut buttons.
And overdyed could be a option. -

14oz Renewal Denim Overdyed Type 3 vest. With a leather patch on the inside. One feature I miss from the vests (even though I know why it’s not included on the 9526j since it’s designed to be thrown over leathers.

I think any kind of Wrangler inspired piece would be cool. Their ranch-like classic jacket was awesome IMO, better than any of the Levi's outerwear shapes.

Seeing the FW18 previews makes me wonder, would IH consider a moleskin modified type III? I don't know that moleskin has insulating properties or how thick the fabric is but the moleskin cpo looks so cool. A moleskin type III would also look awesome

Silver-ish antique CPO snaps/buttons, akin to the copper ones we have now.
As I'm thinking about the GA HLYWD ultra pimp snap upgrades, I can't imagine having just one silver bling, with everything else being copper… But, if everything else were "silver".....

Indigo/Black 634, please.
Somewhere I saw that the 888s were coming out in an indigo/black fabric. Love the idea of the 888s but I tried them on at Selfedge in SF and they looked waay to affected on me with the super high rise. Guys there suggested next run might come with a slightly lower rise, which might be OK.
But really, 634 cut is pretty ideal, and it seems to be a shadow version is long overdue. Tonal stitching too, of course. Any weight denim would be fine, though I'm partial to mid-weight 18oz stuff.
