Unpopular opinions

I think tea core leather looks cheap. I know it's an expensive, time consuming process that is supposed to yield interesting wear patterns. I know that the companies that use it have high standards. Nevertheless, it has always looked like something sketchy manufacturers use move sub par material.
"Hey, what should we do with this scrap hide?"
"Eh, just spray some black finish on it so no one can see the imperfections and sell at full price."
"Won't people be angry when the top coat rubs off?"
"Nah, tell em we planned it that way. Call it something classy, like 'tea core'." -
Probably still hungover, shit got wild

Not as hungover as Seul, that disappointing lightweight.
He was still alive when you left, right?
-
I can’t remember if it was him or you we left in Belgium ???

Yes! That one too. I'll hear that one frequently as well.

"Another day in paradise" is nails on a chalkboard for me. I work offshore and I hear it pretty much daily.
Are you implying that working on a rig in the Gulf isn't PARADISE!?!

Unpopular opinion: There's no advantage to a low carb diet versus a high carb one for weight loss.
Actually it's not an unpopular opinion, science has consistently failed to find a significant advantage for one diet style over another for cutting body fat. The bottom line is that it's energy (or calories) in versus out that determines success.
My general advice is pick a diet that works for you, and stick to it. It doesn't matter if it's low carb, low fat, intermittent fasting, six meals a day, or calorie counting.
If you want scientifically sound advice, the Best Diet list is composed by nutritionists who know what they're talking about.

As long as calories in = calories out, then body fat will remain the same, regardless of how the calories break down into macro’s. The only benefit of lots of protein in a fat loss diet is that it keeps you full better than carbs. However if your carbs are coming with lots if dietary fibre (wholegrains, brown rice) then that does the same job.

I was vegan for 14 years. Fittest and strongest I ever was. Cholesterol of 2.4, BMI was perfect. And they were measured by the NHS, notoriously anti veggie at the time. That's all done a full 180 and medical advice is for that diet now. Still the fish and livestock industries have a lot to lose financially like any industry would, so the lobbying to government numbers on.
I've eaten meat, been vegan, fruitarian, and am now veggie. I've got a full range of lived experience to compare. Meatheads who say 'you have to eat meat ug ug ' don't have that comparison to make an objective assessment.
Let's see how popular that opinion is. How long before the patriarchy kicks in?

I've done some research as well and it's a proven fact that vegan girls smell the best.
And taste the best

Why thank you. Plenty more where that comes from! I am very comfortable in my own skin and love making people feel uncomfortable in theirs…as long as they are bigoted, ignorant, sexist, racist, homophobes. Plenty of fodder therefore in my home county (Essex, UK) so I've had plenty of practice! To the extent that I made it my profession (social worker). I wanted the post of Travis Bickle but the job centre said they weren't recruiting to that post again
