OD’s look great Rox.

@neph93, did I see you're in Bodø? My daughter was there and Svolvaer a few weeks ago and couldn't believe the amount of ice on the roads and pavements. She loved the trip, though.

That's right, Bodø. It's been a brutal winter with some challenging conditions. The icy pavements are standard fare but worse this year as there hasn't been many mild periods to soften things up. Svolvær and Lofoten are wonderful…glad she enjoyed herself. A holiday or work?
-
She was on holiday, doing Oslo, Bergen and Svolvaer, with one night in Bodø. Svolvaer was by far her favourite. My wife and I inter-railed to Bodø in 1981, as it happens. I've been lucky enough to work in Norway a few times in the 90s and keep meaning to go back. Such a beautiful country.

I always think the big Norwegian cities are much better places to live rather than visit. You need a little local knowledge to really appreciate them.
Bodø has changed a lot since I moved here in 2000. You may not recognise it now. If you’re ever in the country then shout out.
