yeah, that's about a 100% perfect fit. Slight drape, without too much extra fabric mucking up the cut. well played sir. And thanks for buying the last pair to save me from myself 🙂

Thanks Adam! No joke, it took me a month to pull the trigger. Looking at the measurements, the forum pics, the description. Finally just said feck it and here they are…

Been living in these for the last couple days and they have well exceeded my expectations. The fit and feel are unreal.

I know there has been a lot of talk of a cargo in the 816 cut and with whipcord, but these cargos in other colors would be an instacop for me. But I’m not sure how well these moved. I’d love these in a brown/chocolate, camo, khaki, dark grey. Just my two cents….

^ they did okay, as did the 23oz serge cargos which came in three colours and were even more awesome.

The serge’s were a bit before my time and I had to look them up….and they looked amazing!

They are incredible mate. I bought them on release and fubared the sizing. OK to start with then hefty twill stretch and weight loss rendered them unwearable. Kept them for a year before selling them to a good home (sabergirl). I do like these too, fortunately.

Since there seems to be no other cargos planed, at least at the moment, I was wondering if I should get this one. I have already the 714 serge in 32, of course like it, but want one which is a little bit, weight wise, lighter. But folks, the 714 is not up for sale! 😉 😃 Seams like the 718 in 31 would fit just fine, it is also not as wide as the 714 what i like as well.

Now my question, since I like a lighter one to compliment my 714, can you guys give ma idea how to compare them.

Like the 714 is 25oz. vs. the 718 is 14-18-21oz.? What I already understood is that the 718 is very tight woven, therefore not really breathable.

@Alex @Giles and of course all others with first hand experience.

                          Thanks.

The 714’s were 23oz compared to the 718’s that are around 16oz, but seem heavier. The two fabrics are really quite different. This has a smooth hand (but is also hairy) and is very dense, compared to the coarse, loose weave of the 714’s.

To be honest, you should just buy them. They’re ridiculously good and I’m convinced you’ll love them.

O.K. @neph93, thanks! That gives me a feeling, and I'am afraid you right, I would probably love them.

@Alex, could you please put a Good Art Hollywood Rosette Snap on the rear pocket? I'am not sure if I like it, or if it is to flashy for me.

Would be thankful for other opinions as well!

What does the community thinks? No go or go…12mm or 17mm...thanks folks!

To clarify, are we talking about the snap caps or the ones with the tube attached? The caps only hold via press fit, and the one with the tube get riveted, am I right? @Alex

No. Snap caps fit onto the male part of a snap, so the inside placket of a shirt for example (right hand side as you wear it).
These snap covers are fitted to their respective part with the fabric in the middle in much the same way as a normal snap upgrade.
