Dig the subtle design that still has an agressive stance. That leather looks something special–apears supple and pliable--really like the brown showing on the edges. (Wonder how it would evolve--possibly showing the brown undertones in spots of wear?)
I've always liked the natural leather color of the stacked soles, but that may take away from the more dress look?--and with out the rubber underneath it on the foresole may not work anyway.
I assume the price is so high, because of the HH?

Hmmm…for that price tag they look to basic for my taste.
I like the other sample pair you wear right now very much, but these look too unimpressive (
for lack of a better translation).This. But it is a matter of taste…

Could also see the stacked leather stained brown vs completley black or natural–might get the best of both while playing well with the brown edges of the leather.

It’s a dress boot. It’s supposed to be for people who prefer high quality footwear but don’t want to draw attention to themselves.
Sadly, most of us buy IH gear because it is different and can wear it everyday.
However, for the high profile exec who love riding his Ducati while wearing his 634s on the weekends, but has to wear a suit and tie to work, these boots allow him to wear a bit of that IH flavor with his Tom Ford or Thom Browne suits.
Personally, I very much like them - I think of them as very Hedi Slimane euro inspired meets Thom Browne NY street style. Hedi’s rock inspired formal wear was my favorite menswear collection ever. These Wesco also remind me of some
Of the PRADA dress boots - which make these look like a steal with double the quality and half the price.Imagine:
These Boots
21oz Black Wabash Pants
White Silk shirt
IHJ-54 or 35 on top.The definition of old school cool with the perfect balance of true luxury and rough edges.
Just my 37 cents [emoji41]
If that sample is my size, I’d love to give them a a whirl.

I like them, mostly because of their simplicity.

I'm just now seeing the sample boot posted
yesterdayon the 18th. I think it's GORGEOUS!Very simple and "understated". It also somehow manages to be beautiful AND rugged-looking at the same time. Almost a jungle boot profile, with leather soles. Should look GREAT with the all slimmer cut pants that are flooding the IH scene lately.

Man that leather looks good. Reminds me of a well aged Rawlings Heart of the Hide baseball mitt
Congrats @Seul

Wescos are the most comfortable boots to work hours on end in… 7-8 hour shifts of non-stop physical work and no sore feet, au contraire... For me, that's important... And yes: I will be working in these... Starting tomorrow, 6am-1pm shift. Back-up shoes already packed though
Then later that day I will wear them to my gran's wake...
As you can see, they're quite versatile

Genuine feedback wanted
These would likley retail around USD850-900, we think they are a good middle ground between work boot and smart shoe you wear with a suit. Perhaps something you could wear with smart pants and a Monme shirt. Please let me know your thoughts.
Made from Black Horween Horse Strip.
Think I would either move the Wesco logo to the inside or just leave it off completely. To have a, as clean as possible, look if you want to target the smart shoe and suit customer.
Also, worth thinking about to go for a different pattern, along:
