Are you referring to the 526PJ, or are they really going to lengthen the 526?

The IH-526J and the IH-526PJ are different jackets.  Hint:  They have differnt model numbers.

The IH-526PJ is a seasonal release (may become extant depending upon demand) and is not going to replace the IH-526J.

No changes are being made to the IH-526J.

I have asked retailers if they want me to continue to supply the non-pocketed version.  I think there is only a slim chance that we will get enough interest to continue 2 versions....

So if you want no pockets, swoop now.....

Shame.  For me, this is the best IH jeans jacket, and we all know IH make all the best jeans jackets.  At 5'11" with an XL, I find the length preferable to the longer cuts and I also prefer the cleaner lines without pockets.

Such a shame.. Yet another timeless classic getting sucked into the modern era. I figured this one would have been the long longest serving IH grail piece. Worst part its, I never grabbed one!!  Maybe somewhere out there in the universe an L is floating around for me . Aslo, personally I don't like the pockets, I don't like the wearing lines that form around the belly that come as a result of the inner structure. The clean lines on the front from pockets to waist band shouldn't be F"d with IMO. Also contrast stitching makes them stand out even more.. noo.  Just my two cents…

I think they may come without contrast stitching on the pockets.  Haraki seems to be favoring that lately.  I agree it looks nicer with tonal stitching on the hand warmer  pockets.

The sample piece in the 526PJ thread looks to have tonal stitching for the pockets.
