DOUBLE INDIGO 666 WORLD TOUR

Wonderful pics Adman103. Great job with the jeans/family combo. They look like a really good fit too.
14m old twins sounds like work. I have a 2.5 yr old and a 10m year old. I can empathise when it comes to the challenges of getting out the house, the difficulties connected to winter and how to get enough caffeine jammed into your system.
I have a pair of Frye’s in the gaucho. They’re my summer outdoor work boots now.
Really great tour leg so far. Thank you!

Thanks! A little over 14 months, and fortunately, they got their mothers hair. It’s been quite a year! My Aeropress has been getting a workout lately.
Congrats to you guys. Totally understand the “limited outside” time scenario - we took our twins on a cross country trip around 15 months and it was brutal. Luckily around 18 months trips to restaurants got a lot easier, and we tend to kick places that have a Lot going on and are already pretty loud [emoji23]

Looks like it is also a fathers (of multiple births) Tour [emoji28].
Seriously! Three of us so far! Any other twin/triplet dads around the forum?

Congrats on the baby! Yea, it's been a really wonderful challenge. Good coffee really, really helps, particularly after those nights when sleeping just doesn't seem to be in the cards…

Yea, we don't take them out to restaurants too often- they're in that stage where they're throwing a lot of food, and I feel really bad with the kiddos chucking half their dinner around! I gotta say, you're braver than I going cross country with 15 month old twins… I can't imagine.

Yea, it's wild that there are three of us! Hats off to you with triplets! You have my eternal respect.

Been a busy week here in middle America. I'm really impressed with how soft this pair of 666SII are. For the 18 oz denim, these feel really good. It's been a lot of hands and knees floor time with the kiddos lately, so I may be contributing a little to the knee fades. Got a few more bathroom selfies- I got a weird look from the custodian, who caught me taking pictures.
Lots of time this weekend playing with the twins! Not a great pic, but I loved the look on Elliott's face.
Also had to get a late night sugar kick.

I'm a bit overdue for an update! I'll start with a week ago- it was Superbowl Sunday! The biggest tv/sporting event of the year, so my wife got out some (American) football socks for the kiddos.
I spent the morning at church. We meet at a local high school, and I play guitar in the band, so the 666SII spent some time on stage with a Gibson Tweedy SG.
We got just a little bit of snow that afternoon before the Eagles beat the Patriots.
Thursday, a larger storm moved in, which led to an unexpected snow day! Lots of snowplowing and shoveling up and down the block. The 666SII are heaven to work in- heavy enough to stay warm, but flexible and soft enough that they aren't restrictive at all. I've always worn 34 in IH, but I gotta say, I really like the way the 36 fit.
Suburban Illinois in winter
Elliott was fascinated by all the white outside! He was amazed to see his breath on the glass.
The best part about a snow day is spending time with the kiddos- they learned how to do cheers, so from the midwest IH crew to the larger IH family… cheers till next time!

Beautiful family there mate @Adman103 Jeans are looking great. Have these jeans made it all this way without need for repairs I can't remember?
-
Brilliant.
@spitfire - I sewed a few stitches in the crotch to reinforce it, but that was almost a year ago now haha

not sure why, but this photo horrifies me . . . but i love it
Don't know we're on the same wavelength, but the footprints in the snow made me think of the final scene of The Shining. If the prints suddenly stop, I'll really be freaked. :o
Excellent shots, @Adman103

Thanks @madmonday and @scooter ! That trail is an old abandoned rail line that connected Chicago, Minneapolis, Omaha and Kansas City. It's now a biking trail. When the weather is amenable, I take the kids jogging on it. @spitfiredealer , the jeans are holding up really well, all things considered- no repairs aside from @Appfaff 's stitching, and none needed at the moment…
All that snow is melting now, a week later- it's supposed to be 60 degrees (F) tomorrow, and thunder storming. Go figure. Hopefully I won't be posting pictures of the jeans wading around in floodwaters!

The Midwest IH crew is overdue for an update! I thought I'd provide some documentation of how the 666SII is holding up, but first, some pictures from out and about! The weather has warmed up a bit over the last couple of weeks- we've escaped the winter storm poundings that the east coast has been getting. We've gone for a couple of nice walks with the kids- it's always great to get out and get some fresh air.
Grace is a little goof!
We had some good times playing at the park too-
The kids are growing so fast- all the sudden, Grace is walking around, new words are learned nearly every day- Dada, Mama, cat and uh-oh! are all current favorites…
I did catch a bad low light picture of the snowy trail all cleared up- I was out for a walk, and the sun hadn't come up yet.
