thank you for quick answer  🙂
Coud you please also tell me what is the comfortable weather temperature gap for this boots?
they are unlined, but still it is thick leather with very thick leather sole, so I assume it could resist some cold weather, like until -5 by celsius at least?
and looking to the hot weather, it is definetely not a footwear for the hot summer days as well.
        what is you opinion?

I live in Norway and have Wesco Boss in a slightly thicker leather but the same double midsole. Lack of warmth has not a problem in low temps in my experience. In fact my first pair  are my prefered winter boots. To be sure you can buy a pair with a little room so you can use thick socks.

I can confirm that driving, standing and walking are a pleasure in these boots.

could you also try to define a temperature gap where you would feel comfortable with this boots?(like from +15 - -5 by celsius)

I now have two pairs of Wesco boss. My first pair are really all year round/four season boots made from slightly thicker leather than this pair (but only slightly). I can happily wear them in summer (it gets a bit sticky if the temperature goes above 20C but is still not a big problem). In the winter it gets down to -15C and at that temp I can be outside walking for an hour and it's still not a too cold. -1C to -10C is no problem at all, very comfortable.

Knowing what I know now, I would have ordered an E width instead of a D on my winter boots to get as thick a sock as possible in them for those -15C days. As it is I can get an IH boot sock in them with no problem and they are good and warm. The flip side is that with an e width they would be useless in summer with thinner socks.

My second pair are a much lighter leather with single midsoles and an outer sole that isn't made for icy conditions. They are my May to October boots

The IHWE-5 are in the middle in terms of leather thickness. For me with a temperature swing of -15C to +20C I'd imagine they would be three season boots, March to November maybe.

I have worn plenty of Wesco boots in the Alabama summer (100F, 90% Humidity) and it’s completely fine. It all depends on your socks.

Keep your feet warm with a wool or wool blend sock in the winter and keep them dry in the summer with a synthetic sock and you will be golden year round

It altough depends a bit on the Wearer, I wear 21oz and Boots at -10 and +27 others get naked as soon as the Temprature rises above 20  😃

@Bulatik85, I totally understand your questions…since I had the same five weeks ago!

As mentioned I got this boot five weeks ago and just as you I never had worn such a boot before, but after five weeks, I can second all the above. I do a lot of walking my self and I find the boot very comfortable, driving a car is no issue neither. The coldest I had was maybe -5°C with thin socks and I wasn't even close to have cold feet. The warmest was about 12°C with no problems as well. I can wear the boot 10 hours with walking, standing and sitting with no discomfort.

Thank you all for the answers, looks like I am getting closer and closer to buy a pair of Engineers…

i still have some thoughts like:
it would be more hard to choose the correct size in web shop, for Engineers rather than for boots with laces, since with laces you could lace up the shoes more strongly and have some freedom to reduce the size, if it is not completely yours...
but may be it is not such a big deal, probably could be solved with your help.

Probably could. Do you wear shoes or boots from popular brands? Red Wing for example? If so, what size?

My Red Wing size is the same as my Wesco size for example.

                            Actually i don't wear RWs.
And the popular shoes in my region could be very different as well.
I usually wear 43 EUR, 9 UK sizes.
Like ECCO shoes all eur 43.
                            Carmina UK 9
Trickers Bourton uk 8.5, but this is exception, i assume the country collection of trickers are expected to be weared with thick socks.
Timberland 6inc premium boots us 9.5, but this pair is too big for me, maybe to wide. Dont know what is the width… wearing with double thick socks.

FWIW. I wear the same size as you: EU 43 and UK 9. I have the IHTB-BOBRN in size 10(US). As shown in "how we measure" that’s 43+. And that is exactly how the fit feels for me. I usually wear them with chup socks but I could go both thinner and thicker socks and still be comfortable. Mind you, I don’t like my feet cramped in boots.

I also dont like too tight feet, but is'nt it so that for such  boot it is important to fit well, since there is no laces?
I am only afraid of that it will slip around the heel and hurt it…

Heel slip is an issue but your sizing needs to be pretty badly off for that to happen. I don’t think correct sizing is more or less of a problem with Engineers. At least not in my experience. My burlap Boss are much roomier than my oil tanned Boss, but still no heel slip. You can also correct minor sizing issues by inserting another insole or taking the existing one out.

Not really, they are mostly cosmetic. They are all built on the same last meaning they have the same toe shape. They are all made from waxed leather, in fact 3, 5 and BRN are made from the same leather and BLK from the black version of it. They all have the same outsole tread (#700) except that build 5 has the cut down version (#705). Build 5 has a double midsole will take more time to break in and changes the profile of the boot. I prefer that on most builds but it’s a matter of taste really. There are other cosmetic differences listed on the product pages.
