Just came from walking with the dog, it's very stormy and overcast today in Munich, a real shitty waether!

I can feel it's getting tight on the shoulders but not in a way that it is uncomfortable.

What you guys think?

Looks like a stellar fit with the hoddie, too.
I have to admit, I didn't think there was room either, after how well/fitted it looks in  the first photos.

And those arm combs!  Damn! 
Thinking about warm soaking mine in the shower and wearing it dry.

My writing was probably a bit confusing, I meant, that i can wear eather the Hoodie with a light T-Sthit, or a IHS-1600/IHSL-1501, under the IHSH-177.

Hey all! Quick question… just got mine in the mail and I’m stoked. It’s slightly big in the chest area and I’m wondering what is the appropriate wash/soak combo is to make this shirt shrink a bit. Thoughts  :-?

Thanks guys… new to the IH universe, and I must say, I’m a better man for it! The rest of the shirt fits quite well, if not a tad long in the arms. I thought I read somewhere that some IH denim shirts could shrink a bit  depending on wash temp and dry cycle. I’m not even sure if this is a good idea, hence why I’m posting here to you more seasoned IH veterans.

I really liked the way mine fit when I bought it,and I didn’t feel like I had a whole lot of wiggle room in case it did shrink,so I washed it in cold water and hung it dry. It tightened up a little. The sleeves came up a little bit,after wearing,as a result of the combs/creases forming in the elbow area. Hope this helps.

I put my sleeves in boiling hot water and dried them with a hair dryer and they didn't shrink. I'd be careful putting your shirt in the dryer because this shirt loses indigo EXTREMELY fast… so you might get white streaks and unwanted creases.

Maybe @untucked could chime in?  He tends to machine wash and dry all his IH gear.  Dont think he's big on measurements though, so doubtful we'll get before and after #s, but still maybe helpful.

Im pretty sure this Shirt would shrink if it gets washed really hot and with agitation. But as the others said that might cause unwanted creases and shrink the shirt overall, not just in one spot. In my experience the sleeves look shorter once the combs have settled anyway.

Thanks!!! Believe it or not,this is a size down from the xxxl I was originally going to get. Austin @SENY convinced me to get this size. I need the inches in the chest and the opening if I'm to have any chance to close it.Definitely have a beer/stout belly. That's a generic LL Bean henley.
