I’m pretty certain that the wool is pre-shrunk, at least on the last batch IHUK had. I bought the green (great colour, great quality) and it had stretched a bit so I hot soaked it. It had no effect whatsoever.

EDIT: In fact I handwashed it with wool detergent in hot water so there was the famous agitation as well.

The beanie is a loose knit so there may be some slight shrinkage after washing but it will stretch and loosen back after wear.

Luckily it's a beaut of a colour...
