Wanted the black authentics but I was too slowEbay, sadly. Got them for 90 as the chap would only sell to the UK.
Cheeky bastard clearly bought them to flip them. The box was still wrapped in the Goodhood branded cellophane!

I really think vans are the best casual footwear around
The name of these escapes me at the moment/ Vans X ACU SLIP-ON & here is the write up just causeShanghai sneaker boutique ACU celebrates its first Vans collaboration with a tribute to a local street vendor delicacy, the Chinese Mitten Crab, or as it is more popularly known, the Shanghai Hairy Crab. The construction of the classic Vans slip on mirrors the presentation of this seasonal dish.
The heel collar is outfitted in a hairy textile that mirrors the “mitten” crab claws, while a dark green, leather upper resembles raw crab meat. As the shoe wears over time, a the green layer will become worn and expose a second layer of orange, ‘cooked’ crab. The blue and white striped design on the shoe’s piping and sole are taken from the string that the prepared crabs come wrapped in.

I always loved em. Last year I bought some Vaults, but most of em are too artsyfartsy.

Yes, the Anaheim collection is much nicer. I think the Authentic look better with the black stripe on the outer sole and most Vaults don't have it.

I'm not going to speak for MM but they look like it to me. I have a pair in black and blue. Highly recommend them. Much more comfortable than regular Vans.

I have the Blue Ultracush ones as well. I will say I roll my ankle in them all the time.
I also wore them on a charter fishing trip and have yet to get them clean… that was in 2015 haha [emoji23]

I love my Vans, but size 10 classics don’t really work with my IH jeans or else I’d wear them more often in the winter months.

horween leather vans have to be the most uncomfortable go fast shoes I have ever worn.
every time I put them on I recall why I don't wear them. I tried everything to make them even moderately more comfortable and have decided I will never wear them again.
now to decide what to do with them. . . maybe clean them up a bit and try to get pennies to the dollar on grailed/ebay

Style 44 navy with a nice suedeish material goes well with everything from khakis to denim

lobster green. Rumor has it with enough wear they turn lobster red but I don’t think I’ll ever find out
