It’s been a good couple of days. I also picked up a chef’s knife Vince Evans made available on his Facebook page. Vince is mostly known for his impeccable historical recreation. The blade is 8” long (or maybe a tad more) of handforged 1095 and the handle is stabilized koa.

Handmade by a swedish Sami, bought it the same day as the fur hat from the WAYWT at that Sami Market in Jokkmokk.

Almost nothing beats a good "Brotzeit" at a summit! If one thinks this is to much cheese, I had a second sausage and bread in my backpack.
