Perfect…perhaps I can get some slipped into one of my purchases once SS gear starts dropping...I know they seem insignificant, but they really add a nice touch to my gear with zippers.

Some chain stitching at the crotch junction has let loose. Pictures are below. I have thread to use. My question is do you guys think I can effectively  mend this with a needle and thread? These are my 888NT 1 Soak and one wash before I wore them 75F water

                Maybe so. Maybe not

Yes, you can.  You'll need super tough thread and a man-sized needle.

I have worked on my XHS there so it’s doable for sure. Super sharp robust needle needed and a high pain tolerance. Thimbles made of kevlar would probably help too.

I got me seamstress to find me some appropriate strength thread. Colour didn’t match but it was the the crotch so nfg. Now G mentions it, my Leatherman was indespensible for drawing the needle through. Wish I had kevlar thimbles though…

Thanks fellas. I appreciate the help. My fingers are cracked to bits cuz of the cold so the pliers is great advice. I will go to the craft store to get a killer needle.
