I'm not quite sure that explains a fascination of fireworks. There's many layers and reasons to justify buying expensive pants. I've not heard that about fireworks…

Whilst I'm in unpops, I'll throw another one out there. Time; New Years, WTF? A made up date based on the current calendar in vogue. I'll take a day off like anyone. The amount of celebration for a man made construct for tracking the sun is just odd.

(I generally try keep out of this thread as I'm about as unpop as it gets and realize it ;))

The "super black, non-fading" denim doesn't make sense to me at all, and I don't think I would every buy clothing made of it.

It just seems anti-"everything we love about denim", but (At least in conversation…. Idk about sales) it appears to be far more popular than the SBG... How Sway?!
