Funny you say akevitt. Which means “water of life” roughly. And that was the original Name for whiskey and vodka and all spirits that were the first distilled. Alcohol history is pretty cool.

Another nugget. All liquors are distilled from wine or beer.

good night folks! Friend visit us at our cabin this week with this bottle of whisky. Fuck me! This one was really good! I’ve never enjoyed whisky taste before…really Tequila-Gin-Vodka boy!
But to taste this one...Bottle went empty surely and lovely in the night. A revelation for me[emoji51]
