I feel like every short sleeve button down shirt ends up on clearance.

      They do….

Yea my rule is if it’s not a polo or a Hawaiian shirt: long sleeves. And I don’t own a Hawaiian shirt…

I like the double elbow; would love in charcoal. I need more tops to wear with my black wabash loggers.

I felt the sane way (Postman-esque) until I bought the red and white short-sleeve chambray workshirts in early 2016 (I don't recall the number).

I wear long sleeve IH shirts to work topically every day but when I wear my short sleeve ones people ask why am I dressed so fancy, like "What's the special occasion?"… And, I feel more fancy as well...

I've just renamed this thread so we can include stuff that possibly does not fall into one of our seasonal releases.  I will indicate when we post pics whether the item will be for worldwide release or a non-Japan release.

Worldwide release - initiated by Chnanon (of Pronto Denim) and @rocket  separately nagging Giles who in turned nagged Haraki.  It took a good 2 years to convince H)  🙂 🙂

                    Very cool.

Always loved the look of Converse but never got on with them because relatively wide feet means artificially long shoes that end up looking like clowns shoes on my stumpy legs. Hopefully that won’t be an issue here.

Either way they look great. Really like the ribbed rubber around the sole and the branding on the heel.

EDIT: apologies for writing “ribbed rubber” so early in the morning. What is that really called?

Going by your vast amount of offspring, you definitely do not know the word for it, neither in English nor Norwegian…

I saw this shirt quite a bit, and it is BEAUTIFUL! The fabric is so dark, and it feels great to the hand. The double elbows are perfectly executed as well. Definitely hope to see more pieces constructed like this in the future.

*How will these be named, (not that it matters)? Just "Double Elbow Workshirts"?

I think that is exactly when pic quoting isn’t just ok, but actually a good thing.

Does the sleeve design have any provenance or heritage from a trade or practical application, or is it just double tough?

Certainly featured on some early 20th century (possibly late 19th century) shirts.  We did the same design on the IHSH-30 which did not sell very well, but I always liked the feature…..

I think it looks great and generally like the work shirt variations (single pocket, military stylings etc.) which seem easier to iterate than than western variations. I’ll do a google and see what I can find. Would be cool to give it an appropriate name.
