Merry Christmas and the Happiest of Holidays to all of you and your families!

This is a very special kind of place with some amazing people.  I look forward to checking in daily to read about the adventures and happenings of all of you.  I enjoy that barbs can be thrown at each other without the mean spirited bite you often see in other forums.

I hope that in the future I can start meeting some of you.  With two small children and running a business, it’s often hard to find the time.

I wish all of you the best for this season and the upcoming New Year and want to thank the IH crew past and present!  You have made some magic happen and I wish the best to you in your current and future endeavours!

Lovely reading this page the last day. Hope everyone is having great time. My father got his first bit of IH today as a present, the duck apron. He’s a woodturner and should be able to put it to good use. I’ll try and sneak a pic of him.

I’ve enjoyed a Champagne breakfast, mince pies, some decent porter and watching the kids open their presents in a frenzy. I’m now preparing for a huge dinner. All the best to you and your family.

I think that outside of the mountains, and Tasmania, you don't really get snow in Australia. I can't remember seeing a frost in Melbourne in the three years I've been here.

Adelaide Hills area is known to get snow.

Even here in North Haven we wake up to frost covered grass on cold winter mornings.
