Flat Head’s Winter Mod Coat, New Edition Sawtooth Denim Shirts, Winter Socks, & More
From the mountains of Nagano, Japan, we have a new collection of coats, denim shirts, winter socks, and fresh runs of crispy jeans.
Flat Head has reimagined the classic fishtail coat and has included quite a few features including cupro fiber lined sleeves, Glory Park flannel lined inner, “spring loaded” cuff size adjustment straps, a detachable faux-fur hood which either element can be removed separately, and buttoned hand and inner pockets. This jacket has it all, and it fits well to boot.
We’ve also received the New Edition version of their sawtooth denim shirt. New Edition like they’re now using 10oz super soft Zimbabwe Cotton fibers for the denim, not like Bobby Brown in the 80’s.
Flat Head have redesigned their socks and now they have a little more cushion where you need it and they’re made of a special anti-bacteria/anti-odor fiber blend which was developed for these socks. They also have little non-slip “pads” made of Flat Head logos at the bottom of each sock.
All three of these items along with fresh restocks of Flat Head’s 8002, 3002, and SE05BSP jeans are available now at all of our stores.

Of course it's always personal taste but I liked the former FH sawtooth edition without the tag better although the measurements of the new iteration are looking pretty awesome. Nonentheless still another stellar denim shirt.
The new one is actually wearable by a large number of people, where as the old ones were extremely slim cut especially in the mid-section.

I bought 4 different versions of the old model and could not get any of them to work, the sizing just sucked for me. Good to hear this round is friendlier in the mid-section.

3sixteen Thermal Henleys & Caustic Wave Denim Restocks
3sixteen has just released a great addition to their solid line-up of basics in the form of long sleeve thermal henleys, available in natural or black. These have a triple-needle coverstitch construction collar, corozo nut buttons, and are made of a custom knit heavyweight thermal fabric.
Along with these new thermals we've received a full restock of the 40BSP Caustic Wave denim jean and the modified Type III jacket made of the same denim.

Studio D'Artisan Winter Collection of Jackets, Shirts, Jeans, & More
Fresh from the beautiful city of Osaka we have Studio D'Artisan's new winter collection.
This release consists of an indigo-dyed MA-1 jacket, a 60/40 mountain parka, a wild ass denim shirt, loopwheeled Suvin Gold sweaters in various colors, Suvin Gold cotton fiber denim jeans, and heavy thermal long sleeve shirts.
This is one their strongest winter collections we've seen yet with some solid basics combined with some fresh takes on traditional reproductions.

The Nine Lives Shadow Fade Touring Coat
Every now and then a product comes along made of a fabric which pushes the boundaries of textile production. This Shadow Fade Touring Coat does exactly that.
Nine Lives had a custom needle-punched fabric made from three separate layers which has a fading pattern from top to bottom on the coat. The jacket comes with a micro-suede lining, two-way zipper, yak leather trim on the pockets and under the collar, and a hidden sleeve pocket for stashing whatever you need. This is a very special jacket, and absolutely beautiful in person.

Iron Heart N-1 Camo Jackets & Winter Shirts
We're happy to finally have these new N-1 jackets in stock. When we saw the samples in Japan in the spring it was one of our favorite pieces from their winter collection. They've taken their Thinsulate lined N-1 and done it up with a custom woven outer inspired by the M90 camo pattern.
Along with this new N-1 we've receive winter flannel worksheets and cotton herringbone western shirts.

New Strike Gold Jeans, Optical Ice Jackets, & Loopwheeled Sweaters!
We have some serious heat that just landed from Strike Gold. They've finally released the Type II Optical Ice jacket which they teased us with earlier this year. This Type II is made of their 5XXX 15oz unsanforized denim which is made using a super short slub weft yarn. These come unwashed and are sure to look wild after some wear.
We'e also received their newest jean, the 6109 Super Slub jean. This is made from a new 16.5oz denim using short staple fibers for the warp and weft. The warp is pure indigo dyed and the weft is left as a natural cotton color.
Along with the new jacket and jean model we've received fresh runs of loopwheeled sweaters and hoodies in black, gray, and indigo-dyed colors.

Introducing 1/8 Takamura
1/8 Takamura is a brand which we've been carrying at Self Edge Mexico for over two years now. The brand is owned by a young Mexican designer from Mexico City by the name of Guillermo Vargas. His great grandfather was Japanese, hence the name of his line. Most of his collections over the past few years have been for women yet recently he's starting to do more garments for men. We hadn't planned on bringing the collection into our four stores north of the Mexican border, but this jacket was too good to pass up.
The fabric is woven at a small mill outside Mexico City and it's all cut and sewn in-house at the 1/8 Takamura studio in Roma Norte, Mexico City. It's a fresh design and from the initial reactions we've gotten from our staff and clients at our stores it seems the jacket is a hit.
Helps to see these jackets in person as some of the details/lines are lost in photographs. These are available now at all five of our stores.

Iron Heart Overdyed Denim Jackets, Left Hand Twill Jackets, & Wool Blankets
We have three solid releases from Iron Heart this week to keep you warm. We've done a limited run of Type III jackets in an overdyed 18oz denim. This jacket has hand pockets and just a little added length so it can be worn with an untucked shirt underneath.
We've also received their new Left Hand Twill Modified Type III jacket, this denim is beautiful and has a unique hand-feel due to the left hand twill weave.
Along with these jackets we've received their new wool blanket which is produced by a small blanket weaving factory in Japan. This thing is wild soft and is double-weave woven so there's a small layer of air trapped between the two layers of fabric which gives the blanket a light but warm feel.

Self Edge Graphic T-Shirt #3 & New Papa Nui Caps
The third t-shirt in our Graphic Series is out now, with artwork done by Portland's finest. With TRON at the helm of this design we have an original hand-drawn graphic for all you surrealists out there and every tee comes with an essential Time Travel Token.
We've also received the new collection of Papa Nui caps. These are made in Japan out of the finest materials and are available in a new frogskin camo or red wool. The red wool cap is made specifically for us without any outer branding, low-key style.

Delraiser restocks hit all of our stores February 15th. We have about 25 of them coming but we have a waitlist of over 70 people. We'll be releasing them all at the same time to give everybody an even chance.
There is size 46 being made but that's a FW18 release, so we should have those in November. -

Glad you like them! Because they've been selling as well as they have we're going to keep the series rolling at the rate of about one every 2 months. Also, we've been tweaking the fit and details of the t-shirts to dial them exactly how we like them, all the tees now are from the newest run including the older designs because we did reprints of those.
