This really doesn't look like a business shirt, at least not to me..

But that's what not few of us hope for or at least intend to use it. And where's the big difference to a classic suit shirt (besides the weight and that it's super cool)? 9014 aren't business shoes either, but that's how I use them.

Well the shirt is white, that's really the only thing this got in common with a business shirt. Hell, the topic even states that it is indeed a "work shirt". But yeah, intend to use it as a business shirt is a different matter. Shirt looks great, but I don't think it'll go too well with a suit.

i think some 'business-men' wouldn't wear it for that purpose, but i'm pretty sure a lot of 'work-men' wouldn't wear a white shirt either

but it's a classic style in a beautiful material, so you can enjoy it whatever you do

This is right at the top of my "IH to buy" list. Yes, I will be using it for Business along with the IH Chinos when they surface. My vote is for no prominent logo, as usual Beatle's logo suggestion is spot on.

We will not be having red reverse stitching on the chain stitching, we tried and it showed through on the face fabric.

really nice shirt and i think what peter means [and i tend to agree], if your job allows you to wear this shirt to work then there is really no reason why you cant wear any other IH shirts to work.

now slightly off topic and maybe some what a nooby question, i know the history and how Chainstitch runoff side seams came about but dont understand how it morphed from part of the functional stitch to display like this one?
