@yinzer I've been meaning to get a pair of 3009's for quite some time now but haven't had the chance.  I still plan on picking up a pair eventually.

No 634's (the rise is a bit big for me)

I do have a pair of 633s, sized up one that are close to a straight fit feel though.

I need a low rise to avoid diaper ass, limits me a ton.

Me too.  Instagram for me is a really good way of kind of keeping a diary of fits and outfits.  I think it will be a really good way to keep track of the progress on a pair of DWC jeans over the next few years too.  At least that's kind of my main intention in using it for the foreseeable future.

Me three. It’s fun, and I don’t take it too seriously either (instagram in general) There are a lot of “cool” users with the awfully staged photos, and equally bad captions but luckily you don’t have to follow everyone [emoji51]

Do you hate everything, including all The things you regularly participate in? If so then yes it counts.

                Maybe so. Maybe not

                    Nothing too crazy…

                    It's just tedious.

And once you start, there's no turning back, no matter how much interest you've lost in doing it... You just have to keep going

Been there, done that, ruined one piece of clothing!

If I feel it's "ruined", I'll just blast it in a clothes dryer for 30mins until most of the wax melts off.

                      Might work, might not, lol

You'd likely ruin the dryer. I waxed my Gustin trucker way back when and ruined it with otter wax. Never doing that again with clothing

I don't know how much is costs to get Barbour to do it for you, but unless you TRULY think it sounds fun, I don't recommend it, lol

I actually got it for a steal, $30 so the cost of having it done properly will outweigh the inevitable stress

I'm actually most worried about ruing everything else… Car seats, desk chair, wall paint, lol! I laid it on a big thicker than I intended to in a couple places

A high quality heat gun is 20-30 bucks, and is totally worth it.  Much better than a hair dryer, and then surprisingly useful for other projects.

How you wax your garment makes a difference too. I used a bar of Otter wax and simply rubbed it on my jacket and then used a heat gun to melt the wax. The problem was that the wax embedded itself in every nook and cranny and even when I used the heat gun it didn't melt everything entirely, so I had gobs of wax that later congealed on the surface. Not a good look. However, I have seen tutorials where people used melted wax that they applied on the garment with a brush and then used a heat gun afterwards to good effect. Otter wax stinks to high heaven by the way.

Here's the exact method I used, and still use every year on my Trophy Reservoir Hood jacket.

                                            • heat tin of Barbour wax is a pan of boiling water
                                            • apply evenly to the jacket all over using a lint free cloth
                                            • smooth out the inevitable runs and drips with hair dryer
                                            • hang in a warm room for 24 hours

Repeat every winter for 5 or 6 years and then only minimal waxing will be required for the life of the jacket.

Made in England, clothed in Japan, fed in America and drunk in Belgium !
