When you finally get them on you’ll be fine. Just work at it. Some folks have to use pliers to do the last button. My XHS were like that the first time. Scared the crap out of me [emoji1]

Even if you wear the top button undone for a day it should help stretch them so you can get done up

You washed twice, right? You had significantly more shrink than I plus a better fit in the same size as me (32), so I'm contemplating washing again for some more shrink.. Although I like the fit right now.

Can I ask how cold and how warm the washes were?

Cold was the cold setting on the machine and warm was 40

I put them on now . I am working from home today so I will wear top button undone for rest of the day. I am hoping for some stretch .

I think you’ll be fine. Mine have stretched quite a bit actually.

Considering a second hot wash to maybe get a little more shrink…
