@Mustafa911 Just this one soak. Then these won't be seeing water for a long time, unless I poop my pants or something like that.

I would not wash these. You will get white creases because the denim is so stiff. Also the denim being rough and stiff is kind of the point of having raw denim/ and part of the fun of breaking them in.

Cold, soak for 1.5hrs then cold wash in the machine with 700 spin for 40 mins

Might I inquire about your reasoning behind this? Won't your fades shift when you wash down the line?

Just a matter of personal preference really. But I know any time I have machine washed a pair of Iron Hearts they were not the same after I washed them. This is why I made the washing tutorial I posted here:

It is a compromise between the SwissJeansFreak Hardcore school of thought of never ever washing your jeans and washing them.  But, ultimately they are your jeans and you can do what you want with them.

Appreciate the inputs and especially the effort behind your guide, filthy.

I did warm soak and 40 deg wash these though, simply because I want to ensure that the most possible shrinkage has occurred before I put them on. I have had even sanforized jeans where the fades shifted on me and I don't want that happening again.

I'll live with some streaking and a cracked patch. The jeans changing too much down the line scares me a lot more!

Mine have been soaking in a cold bath most of the day, I've just wrestled them inside out nearly losing the battle!
They're now on a 30° wash with no spin, distilled vinegar added for natural softening & antibacterial properties.
I'll drip dry them, & probably try & get some wear in them when they're still damp tomorrow or Sunday. ::)

That vinegar will also stop the indigo from coming off….. it’s a technique used to stop crocking.  :-\

                          Maybe so. Maybe not

Excuse the noob but is it advised to let the denim dry between the initial soak and wash?

No, you can just soak them then go straight to the wash after.

Actually the opposite. They should go into the machine wet as it makes the material more supple so sharp creases won’t form as easily.

My jeans are arriving here in Hawai‘i today. I have two Pair coming. After I determine which pair fits  I will Soak and then wash in a front Loader. I’m nervous about creases and temp. The machine has 3 settings. Cold warm and hot. The cold is prob about 70F… cuz the water here is like Piss.  That will Also be my cold Soak temp. Thoughts @neph93 ??
