FIVE WEEKS TODAY! ???
Plan is for a meet up on the evening of Friday 10th November at a hostelry in/near downtown Austin (selfishly because that's close to where we and our friends are staying!)
@Broark has given me a great list of ideas, also love the sound of King Bee Lounge @Clint_D - I guess what I'd like to do first is to get a feel for how many folks will be able to come along. I don't think we'll be a massive crowd, but I guess even if it's just 12 to 15 of us we'll need reserve a space on a Friday evening.
So far I am counting:

@Giles and me (and probably 3 or 4 of our friends - the members of the family who are not racing the following day!)
@Chris - does Friday evening work for you?
@HeavyGenes - ditto?
@mikebarhoot - ditto?And of course let me know if you plan to bring partner/friends etc. just so that I can get a good handle on probable number.

Plus I mentioned to Victor (selvedge1 on Instagram) that you guys were visiting and he was interested in the meet up, I'll touch base and see if he can still make it. -

I'll be there Friday night, I'm not sure if anyone will be with me. I'll have to sit down with Julie and hammer out our plans, since I know she had a couple of things she wants to do while we're there, and we'll have to accommodate the children, demanding little monsters that they are.

We are wanting to hit up Revival and Stag and probably a brewery Friday mid day if anyone wants to tag along. We are trying to stay in the S. Congress / 7th street area… if anyone has a Marriott code, hit me up haha [emoji23]

Jester King doesn't open until 4 on Fridays, but St. Elmo brewing is pretty cool, or you could do Lazarus/Zilker/Hops and Grain.
Ok, I'll let greg (@formulapfaff) pick the brewery - he already mentioned Lazarus, so we will probably start there if people want to pre-party

@Clint_D - Noted! I really like the Sours from Deep Ellum brewing, so I'd be down to try!
@FormulaPfaff - you better start taking notes and hitting everything up about a brewery session before the party!
Also, as an aside… should we all say what IHSH we are going to wear to avoid duplications lol
