Role Club By Brian the Bootmaker

These are a 1 of 1 Role Club boot that I asked Brian to build for me, based on the classic military issue M-42 Service Shoes and a pic of some Rolling Dub Trio boots that I sent him. They look solid and amazing mate. Horsehide leather?

I wish… I cannot imagine how those will look in a year or two! I have been dreaming about commissioning a pair of natty veg tanned "Underdogs" (see below)
I'm about to order a pair of Underdogs in Black Shell Cordovan. I have a pair of engineer boots and Marine boondockers that he made me two years ago and his work is meticulous.
Brian is professional and a decent, nice guy.

Underdogs are fantastic

I think I am going to swing by his shop either this week or next and place my first order. Figured since he's so close I might as well take the guesswork out of any sizing and have him measure me up correctly.

Love the Engineers but just got some Lofgrens so thinking either the Underdogs or service boots. I like that captoe addition also. I wonder if he's done an Underdog in oxblood shell cordovan…

Well I went to see Brian back in Nov (on my birthday no less) and picked up a one-off test pair of "dressy" monkey boots as he called them that happened to be a perfect fit. Look good with the 634S. I spent nearly 2 hours chatting with him, getting measured up, talking through his journey as a bootmaker and upcoming plans. A true artisan and very humble person who does not take his success for granted.

He also recently posted up a WIP pic of my two-tone shell Underdogs that should be completed shortly. Can't wait!
