Funnily enough, I am working on a range of "smart" shirts (think business casual or even business smart) with the guys who make the IH shirts.  Think serious construction, "finer" fabrics and more business-friendly…..

This is good news. I've often wondered where I might find an IH-quality oxford-type dressier shirt. Problem solved. While you're at it, you should probably start thinking about an IH-quality blazer to go along with the shirts. I mean, you might as well.

For me it'd be the Back to the Future 2 jacket. Remember the one which changes size automatically to fit and dries you off when you fall into a pond? (That happens to me all the time)

I once fell asleep on my bicycle, and woke up in a creek, soaking wet… So that would indeed come in handy...

Yeah, but it was Belgian water.

Besides, to a drunken sot like Seul, water is probably like battery acid.

The Guardian has a piece on this jacket, along with a video advert.

The Verge has a review video.

The Guardian's article mentions it can only be washed ten times before it loses functionality. I don't think that'd be an issue in practice, as my jackets rarely go through the laundry.

It looks an interesting idea, but I'm not sure how useful it'd be in practice. A smartwatch offers more functionality at a similar price point.

Oddly enough, I was thinking the other week how cool it would be to offer up Westerns in fabrics like poplin and such (like Shuttle Notes). Probably not what you had in mind but would be cool just the same. Iike heavyweight fabrics but I often reach for my thin cotton button ups because I can be a sweaty bastard

I’ve said this before, so for the sake of being thorough (and annoying), I’ll throw this out here as well… I’d love to see a series of smart vests (whipchord would be fantastic) with buttons like on the short sleeve chambrays from last spring. Drbabyvest.
