Size XL hits just at my belt buckle on some 634S. Back rests just above the waist, but it a lot of shirt showing through.
Measures:
size XL
Shoulders: 16
P2P: 22
Waist: 21.25
Length Front (top of shoulder to peak): 25

I agree that IH vests are surprisingly versatile, currently loving my IHV-02DD. I would consider it paired with my 13's among my best combos. I also love it with just a T.
Most of my IH shirts fall in the 29-30" length range with a few creeping close to 31" and I would buy an XXXL in this putting me at 27.4 length unless there's a freak in the batch…I see your 02-BLK is 25" front length, what length are most of your IH shirts? I'm trying to figure what length I would REALLY need/how much shorter than my shirts the vest could be before looking off.
I'm 6'3" 235 and the extra length on the 02DD was part of it's allure for me, but after wearing it I feel I could probably pull off slightly shorter with no problems. Thanks for your time and input good sir.

@madmoses - I agree - the IHV-02DD was my first IH vest and I loved it. Sadly, it grew a little large on me and I let it move to a more caring owner.
I had always stayed away from the 02-BLK because of the length, but it actually is the perfect length and size for me. I wish IH would take another moderate weight material and do a vest in it like the Grey one from years ago. I would love one down in brown Whipcord, but I'm sure I am the minority on that lol

I would love to get the vest, but I´m not quite sure about the sizing. Normally I wear an XXL in all IH-Shirts. So do you guys think I should go for a XXL?
Depends how you want to wear it. Over a shirt/tee combination then probably XXL, snug and over just one layer then XL might be best.
You should also think about length. Do you have any preference about where the vest ends? Below, on or above belt for example.

I didnt like it to snug. About the length I´m not quite sure yet. I think I would prefer on the belt.
