I don't know shit about bikes really. Used to ride pillion with a local MC club when I was younger but never owned one. If I was going to have one it would look like that^

I'm not sure that rear suspension is going to do a damn thing mounted at that angle.

The Indian Scout is stock, as far as I know. It's a good looking bike, but rather small, so @Jordonf9 might need to look elsewhere if he's as lanky as @Sam and I are. 🙂

Just seen the Ashley Watson Eversholt jacket over at Silodrome.

It's a waxed canvas jacket with a Dyneema lining to provide abrasion resistance; a waterproof and breathable drop liner to keep you dry; and a set of D3O armour. It's also available in navy. Could be good for riding around town.

Bike looks awesome. My friend finally got his Indian Chief Vintage. My favorite place to photograph motorcycles is at the Acme Concrete Plant ,on Sundays, when nobody is around. It's on 611 not far from Easton. Is that near you?

@Jett129 Easton is about….50-60 minutes from me. So not that far depending on if I want to go down south.

I actually found another great use for the bike. I did my first hot soak of my new 18sII jeans, drip dried and used heat gun in certain areas till till slightly damp. Then jumped on the bike and dried em with air up to 80mph. Worked exceptionally well and stretched critical areas while doing so. Best way to dry jeans by far!

Went down to Thruxton circuit last weekend with my Dad for BSB. It's the second time I'd been but last time I didn't take a camera. This time I remembered! It's a great day out and the crowds are always amazing, clapping every bike even if they came stone dead last. The first time I went there wasn't much action in terms of crashes which didn't bother me at all but this time round there were many and sadly one rider lost his life. Pretty rough way to end the day.

Fast moving bikes are hard to photograph… I took over 800 shots but i probably only have about 30 good ones to show for it. Here are some of the better ones.

For real. Some lovely pics, really illustrating the speed and skill involved. Terrible that there was a fatality though…

On the last one, why are only 4 bikes colored and the rest look grey? Filters? Never saw that before. Way to highlight them.

                              The journey is the objective.

@motojobobo I was feeling artistic when it came to that one. I gradually reduced the vibrancy and the saturation on that one and used the brush tool to highlight the leading bikes. Wanted them to fade to black and white the farther back in the photo they were. First time doing it really but it was fun.

I saw the new BMW R nineT Urban G/S in the local dealership. It's a pretty machine, comfortable to sit on, and reasonably practical. Bike EXIF have a review.

You either need a body and lens that can focus continuously to keep up with action, or you have to set your lens for the distance/spot you want to photograph them at to get sharp photos. I have been doing action photos for 13 years at least, so I have learned the hard way mostly with getting proper action photos that are pin sharp.

I usually shoot wide open unless the light is generous and soft, then I'll go up to f5 maybe while still keeping at least 400 shutter. Also love I can shoot to 12500 iso without a worry with too much noise. 1D X MarkII FTW!
