    @JimBobTTD:

    Passive-aggressive note: it is a shame that these have been replaced by the zip version. Am I alone in not wanting jeans with zips?

    Emphatically not. I can't stand zippers. They are a deal breaker for me, I simply would never spend a dime on a pair of zippered jeans. And thus don't find your remark passive-aggressive in the least, only appropriate and most welcome!  😃

    Keep your jeans on–-and let nothing come in between you and the denim !

      Fantastic fit Luck! I'd say give 'em hell, but mine have shown barely any wear over the past two years!

        Awesome!  I really like this deep black color and was hoping they stayed that way for a while

          Hi Guys,
          recently I've become a happy owner of an IH-666SB in size 33".
          My first pair of IH and my first experience with heavy denim.
          And I must confess it's amazing!
          Otherwise this is my second pair of "quality jeans", so I'm quite a newbie in this "raw denim scene".
          I'm aware the jeans are sanforized, but I'd like to know what can I expect from a hot soak?
          A bit of shrinkage in every direction would be nice, especialy lengthwise and "crotchwise"?
          Probably I should read this forum more deeply, but I couldn't find answere so far.
          I appreciate any advice & thank You in advance.

            In the upper right hand side of this page you will see a red star with white writing that says "See Product In Shop". Click that, the new window will have product info for the item you were looking at, including availability in your size. It has the shrinkage info mid way town on the description.
            All IH items sold, past and present, have the star. Some extinct items lead you to a blank page.
            Enjoy. Save some money for dinner.

                @ksozay:

                Well, this might be a bit late for some folks but just in case…

                • As I mentioned in another post, I am a true waist size 31 (15.5").
                • In most IH denim, I wear a 32 based on personal preference for fit (e.g. some room in the waist).
                • In most IH denim, the downside of a 32 for me, is the fit through the legs is a bit roomier than I'd like.

                I recently picked up a pair of these (666SB) in a 29 and the fit is perfect for what I was looking for. No problems buttoning, top block was initially a little snug but loosened really quickly. Within a few days, fit was very comfortable. The measurements provided by IH, are spot on.

                • 29 in these will fit like a 31, over time.
                • 30 in these will likely fit like a 32, over time.

                Just my findings but likely vary per body type. Hope this helps.

                Take care,

                KS

                bringing this thread back to life for a bit. i found a pair of these on grailed tagged 30, problem is i comfortably wear a 31 from the original run of IH-666s. can anyone attest to a 30 fitting like a 32 over time?

                my 31 fits a little loose in the waist but a little snug around the thighs/butt after just washing

                  Product pages, measurement tables and product threads are your friends. You should find all the info you need there to compare your W31 666s with the W30 666SB. Generally speaking 2" of stretch can be a big ask but is doable in some fabrics (most notably the standard 21oz).

                    Yeah I went back and forth with measurements, unfortunately wasn't able to convince myself to pick these up. I washed and put on my falling apart IH-666s and decided I didn't want to squeeze my thighs into a 30.

                    For any short person like me out there looking for a really really good condition IH-666SB, check out Grailed!  😉

                      Sounds like you made the right decision.
