if my waist measures exactly 30 inches should i buy size 29 or 30? i don't mind sizing down and stretching the tighter waist, but i also don't want it to be so tight that it won't stretch out to the 30.

I soaked it a couple of days ago, lt it dry until I put it on this morning, and I went WOW. This is the best fabric, so freaking stiff, the blue is so deep and dark. It is very elegant, no need for an OD'ing. I still rank the SR's a shade above because the weight is so impressive.

The lined pockets show an attention to detail I just love.

What's surprising is that the 34 waist is as snug as my 32 SR's. I'm sure it will stretch but it is definitely not a 34…

In any case, I'm curious to see how this one will age. Should be wonderful.

Hi, I decided to do a few squats the other day on my first wear and heard a small tear. A few threads along the inseam at the base of the crotch have loosened. Not a crazy amount, but enough for me to wonder if this could be a problem. I did my best with the pics.

as my 666 arrived, I missed that bartack, too.
after twelve days of wear I noticed this:


one seam has loosened in the crotch… disappoining.
but it doesen't matter, just took a needle and stitched that together. now it's rugged again.
