IHSH-141 - Overdyed 11.5oz Indigo Selvedge Denim Shirt/Jacket
-
Well this is me in a large. For me the fit is spot on. This is only ever going to be worn with a t-shirt under so doesn't need to be oversized. My only concern is any shrink which might happen with further washes. I know the over dye should of taken it all out but anyone get anymore?
-
I think it looks like it fits in every dimension. That's the great thing about the IH shirts with a wider shoulder measurement (at least for size Medium, the smaller sizes are where I find difficulty because a 16ish" shoulder is just not possible with my frame, and I'm only 5'7" 135. This 141 is wider in the shoulder in S-M), you can have a fitted chest without sacrificing your comfort and mobility with such a narrow shoulder measurement. It's a winner, especially if you can button the first snap from the top with no pulling across the chest. Like they said in those old PC golf games when you hit the green, "you're dancin'"

As for shrink, I have seen none with mine. If the fabric tightens up after a wash, just wear it while slightly damp until dry to stretch it back into form. My 140 feels looser now than when new so maybe the fabric will give a little with wear as well

Thanks Adam, very pleased with the fit and even happier to hear no more further shrinkage. Looking forward to putting this on in the morning.

Day 1 of wearing this beauty. It's going to take a beating at work.

@neph93 I have the 141 in xl and 33 od in xxl. Deciding which one I like more, totally different beasts and fabric. I'll get back to you on the tanks I'm the next day or two…been so busy lately with the studio.
This denim seems built for OD. Breathes slightly better, smoother surface. This has more green hue to it.

This feels a lot lighter to me than the 33. Much easier to where in the summer months. Proper great shirt.
-
Summer shirt? Hell no! No long sleeve is a summer shirt for me. Even the 135 6.5 oz chambray ss is my limit on how heavy I go in the 90+ summer with full humidity. I sweat easy….sucks.
The 33 would def fade better due to it's more "corse" or "rough" fabric. Both are beautiful.
-
Well I don't wear it all day at the moment due to the heat but throw it on in the early morning.
-
I'm an easy sweater too
So the IHSH-88 and IHSH-16ss are the seeing the most wear time right now, but I anxiously await cooler weather so I can get more wear on my 141. I want the 99 rerun but I think the 141 is a very versatile shirt and I have had as many compliments on it as any of my other IH shirts. Which is kind of a lot now! -
Time for the 1st wash

. . . . . . . more like time for urgent triage

Can't wait to see "after" pics!
