What actually is the definition of a divers watch?  Because I dive a lot and always use this…..

on my left wrist and this on my right wrist….

@Giles What indeed… I use my Casio for any water related antics, £14.99 well spent I recon. But love the other one more in all it's 'wabi' glory, £200 35+ years ago from bloke in Antiquarius, one service at Rolex in that time (I know) and going strong, touch wood…

When I open water swam seriously (i.e. before I found out that some of my cervical vertebrae are fused together and that is why I hurt like shit after a long swim), I used this:

To be perfectly honest, a dive computer is all one needs when diving. Furthermore, a dive boat is a high risk environment for a nice watch, as it's full of very hard stainless bits. So this is more a personal statement thing than anything else.

As a side note, no one does watch and jewelry design like Cartier. The most beautiful watch ever made IMHO is the Cartier Tank Americaine.

The new version in titanium is surprisingly light, and it's got the trick antimagnetic movement.

These watches are fantastic. So much lighter than the steel ones.
I personally like the grey and orange.

Equus Leather do some really nice watch straps, but they're hand stitched, and consequently £150. However, there are occasionally discount codes on their Facebook page.

Whilst they don't offer a dark brown rough out, their polo suede belts are available in that colour, so they might be able to build a bespoke strap in it for you.

Thanks for that @Graeme. The colour is actually a light beige/sand. Not the best photo. You see the colour better at the start of this video…

Equus do a tobacco suede that's a bit lighter, but I don't think that it's the exact hue you're looking for.

I'd look for someone doing custom natural Chromexcel straps, and ask them to make one that uses the rough out side of the leather. The reverse side on this NATO by Crown & Buckle looks like it might be a decent approximation.

Yeah might have to try that. Having no luck finding anything similar as yet. Thanks for the help Graeme 😉

I've been an avid watch collector for many years, but it's time to let a few go as I’m helping my wife launch her company. I am selling my mint Red Bezel Tudor Black Bay Reference 79220R. The Black Bay features a 41mm case and 200m of water resistance with unidirectional dial.

The best detail (for me) about this watch is the dial, and how it can shift in colour from a brilliant green to black depending on the light and angle.

@Tempvs Did you ever hang around at Paneristi? Used to have many of those tuna cans, but I now just have the two. I do wish I'd have kept my 237, but I was paid handsomely for it. Wonderful collection.

This one is the one I'm lusting after. Green's my favorite color, and there are only so many options in quality watches.

There's also the Kermit or 16610LV. It has a black dial with a non-ceramic green bezel. It is also very nice.
