I went one size up from my regular size in these and I absolutely love the fit. The 21oz unwashed is a totally different animal from the regular version, it's rough and stiff as a board.

It does not.  It is sanforised but that is the only post weave process it has been through…...

So then these aren't given the same "slow fade" treatment that the other 21oz. have; good to know.

On another note, can anyone vouch for how much shrinking come out of the thighs on these when soaked/washed?  Looks like a trigger pull for me if I can nail the sizing.

^I could, in a couple of days when I've actually soaked them. Just took delivery! They're great btw, and certainly a lot stiffer and more rough than the normal 21oz.

@SteelBeast9/8 with a luke warm soak, for about 1,5h, the thigh measurement shrunk from 10.9" to roughly 10.7". Assuming there's a little more shrinkage to achieve with an actual hot wash!

Wearing them for the first time, and I can already feel them stretching and settling in quite nicely. Compared to the 666, these definitely taper more from the knee down. Top block feels slightly roomier than my 666 though. Overall the fit is very nice and comfortable!

@Megatron1505 are these softening up at all for you? I might grab a pair of them and save them for a rainy day. I wonder how much like the regular 21 oz denim these are?

I'm also wondering how the pocket bags are sewn in… over the denim, under, or seam tape over the opening.

@Filthy25ozJunkie , mine are still pretty stiff, despite being the most worn pair of the three I picked up at New Year. I kinda like that they are though, totally different animal to the normal 21oz in terms of feel, I think it's an incredible denim and would definitely recommend them. A sleeper classic right here.

I've only used mine for like a week, and they definitely feel a lot softer now. Cut and comfort is awesome!
