Evolution of Leather - Belts Wallets Patches

Got a Vitme mid wallet from Thailand just a few days ago, all in Italian veg tan leather! four card slots, a "hidden" slot, a full length pocket under an extra card pocket for my IDs, and a zipper portion for coins.
Can't wait to see it evolve… Hopefully with time this stiff leather will close flatter. How long did it take anyone else's mid length wallets to close down easily?
(they have an option to stamp it)

Very nice - just carry it as often as possible, exposing the wallet to sunlight and occasional rain drops…Don't be afraid to handle her with not so clean hands, as the oils in your fingers help the natural darkening process.

Does anyone have the black version of the wild child wallet? Looking at getting one of these, but am uncertain to go for the tan or the black.
I'm curious to see how the black patina's and if there is any indigo transfer as well.

Thanks. I loaded it back up and am going to use it again. It's much more convenient than my long Tanner wallet. I can't find any pictures of how the black would age. Not sure if it's the same leathers or not.

Yeah I saw/held the black one. It's much larger and impressive than I was thinking. I was thinking before. "There's no f'n way I'm spending $450 on a wallet!" Then I held it and was like, "it's so nice I've gotta have it."

I'm having a hard time deciding on what lanyard I'd buy with it now. There really needs to be one with vegetables tanned leather and copper shackles and furnishings.
